NRAA Hosts Educational Webinar on CMS’ New ERSD QIP 1.0.0 System

Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. ET
Monday, August 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. ET

The NRAA is hosting a three-part webinar series on CMS's new QIP system, free to members and the public.

The webinar aims to prepare the dialysis community for CMS’ newest release of the ESRD QIP measurement reporting and review system, as well as provide an accommodating environment for answering any questions on member navigation and use.

The new system, which will be known as ESRD QIP 1.0.0, replaces the DialysisReports.org ESRD QIP interface that was discontinued earlier this year. This new system will allow facility administrators and end users to review their facility's QIP score and submit questions before the QIP score is finalized. They will be able to submit these inquiries during a review period of July 15, 2015 to August 17, 2015.

You can register for the webinar sessions here.

The webinars are available to NRAA members and non-members at no cost. For more information regarding CMS and their services, visit the outreach and education portion of their website here.

Revision to Performance Standards for the Standardized Readmissions Ratio Clinical Measure in the Payment Year 2017 End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Incentive Program (QIP)

CMS has recently determined that a data irregularity led to the publication of erroneous performance standards for the Standardized Readmissions Ratio (SRR) clinical measure in the Payment Year (PY) 2017 ESRD QIP. Finalized policy (79 FR 66182) established that the PY 2017 performance standards would be based on the 90th, 15th, and 50th percentile of national performance in CY 2013.
